Excellencies,
Honorable Ministers,
Distinguished Guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Welcome to Indonesia, a country with 252 million population, a country with the biggest muslim population, a country with a population that is very plural, democratic and politically stable.
It is an honor for Indonesia to host the OIC Extraordinary Summit on Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
This summit is a reflection of our full support towards the settlement of Palestine that is just, that results in the independence of Palestine.
We are here because we want to contribute to the settlement of Palestine. We want to be part of this solution.
This spirit, part of this solution, must always comes first because the world is fluid, because conflicts exist in many parts of the world, because stability and peace remain a challenge. This spirit of peace must always be promoted through peaceful means, democratically because violence results in more violence.
May this two spirits guide us in our meeting tomorrow.
Tonight, I want to be a good host. Excellencies, please enjoy the dinner, please enjoy our Indonesian culture and hospitality. Enjoy. Thank you.
